If it keeps up, man will atrophy all his limbs but the push-button finger. ~ Frank Lloyd Wright

A gazillion years ago I used to give technology seminars under the name of PC Penny.  This was back before the term "PC" meant "Politically Correct" and instead stood for "Personal Computer".  When I first started, there were so few people online that I had to have my seminar support materials printed out for distribution.  In the late 1990's I decided that was counter-productive and started posting my seminar information online - which resulted in the PC Penny website.  The screenshot above shows how rudimentary it was.  Wow - that was some screaming purple! The file cabinet drawers were the navigation buttons.  What's lost by the screenshot is the animation...  the hands on the clock spun around and my eyes shifted back and forth.  Yikes!!!

A very small part of my present day business still involves writing a technology column for my clients' websites.  You can find those columns linked in the section below...

"During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet."
~ Al Gore describing his 1986 legislation to interconnect five supercomputer centers - 17 years after the first Internet servers hooked up.
----------
"If Gore invented the Internet, I invented spell-check." ~ Former Vice President J. Danforth Quayle
